We are conducting the 7thAnnual J-Hawk January Hoops Jam for boys in grades 3-8 at Jefferson High School Saturday and Sunday Jan. 4 and 5. We still plan on providing scorekeepers and timers so your parents can watch the game without having to work at the scorers’ table. We will still give first place trophies and second place medals. We will provide two certified officials for each game.
Tournament entries will be limited to the first 8 teams to get registration and fee to Coach Ordman, and will be guaranteed a spot. It sure makes it so much easier and the tourney runs smoothly when we have the pools established by the beginning of December.
Please feel free to forward this email and registration form to interested parties. If you want to play a team out of Dubuque, Rock Island, Des Moines – please call the coach up and send him the form –or have him contact me.
Thanks and good luck with your youth teams!
The Jefferson Booster Club and Athletic Programs at Jefferson High School heavily rely on the income generated from the concession stands at home Jefferson events, and all events hosted at Kingston Stadium.
Each program at Jefferson is responsible for filling a number of spots at the concession stand each year in order to recieve their full budget for the following year. We are asking that each family consider working the concession stand this year for a minimum of 1 event. Your help in working the concession stand will directly benefit the Jefferson Basketball program, as well as all of the programs at Jefferson High School.
